This double page spread abides to some of the standard rules that editors come to when creating them. It is usual to have a image or images cover up the majority of the screen. In this case, you have a blown up portrait of Liam Gallagher, this could also suggest that it is exclusive. In the stand first it says "sounds like Liam's forehead is touching yours" and " goes in head first" which connotates the idea that it is a real insight with no thoughts locked up into the mind of Liam Gallagher. Liam also has a haircut that a lower class boy would have and is wearing a polo shirt from a similar scene which supports the idea that he isn't putting himself onto any upper class status and is relating back to his roots.
Pull quotes are used and enlarged within the text to entice people to the article. The reason for this is to give a feel that you a pulling ideas and quotes directly out of Liams mind.
As 'Beady Eye' is the title of the article, this shows that its not all about Liam and it is about his current band. However he is the main interveiwee of the whole article. the Contrasting yellow behind the original title colour blue draws attention to the title and also hints at him going into a second dimension about the new band, maybe looking at music from a different perspective.
The colourful aspects of the article draw the reader into all of the page as the bright colours draw you in but you see the contrasting parts of it ie the black and what parts. It also does a great job of highlighting the parts the editor wants you to read.
